Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. is looking for software and systems engineers to join its team. CCRI is small business of under twenty employees located in Charlottesville, VA that provides custom software development and innovative engineering solutions to customers in the government and private industry.
Qualified candidates will have experience developing in a modern programming language such as Java, C++, Python, Groovy, Scala, or Ruby and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Statistical computing and analytical modeling:
R, Matlab
Data Mining, Analytical Modeling, Machine Learning, Text Mining, etc.
Enterprise and Web Development:
Java EE, Spring, REST web services, Hibernate / JPA, Django
Databases:
PostgreSQL, MySql, Oracle
GIS:
ArcGIS, Geoserver, PostGIS, OpenLayers
Business intelligence and data warehousing:
OLAP, MDX, ETL
Cloud computing:
Hadoop, Map-Reduce
Web Development:
Javascript, AJAX, CSS, Ext-JS, JQuery
